Who we are
The Hammersmith and Fulham Site Managers Forum was founded with the goal of creating a unified platform for school site managers across the borough. School facilities play a crucial role in the overall well-being, safety, and productivity of students and staff, and we recognized the need for a community where professionals responsible for maintaining these facilities could collaborate, share experiences, and grow together.
Why We Started
Managing school facilities presents unique challenges, from ensuring health and safety compliance to maintaining infrastructure and dealing with day-to-day operational issues. The Forum was established to address these challenges collectively, providing a support network where site managers can learn from one another and access resources that help them meet the high standards required for school environments.
How Often We Meet
The Forum hosts regular meetings throughout the academic year, typically every each halfterm. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss important topics, such as new regulations, best practices, and innovative solutions for common issues. We also invite guest speakers from relevant fields and offer training sessions to keep our members up to date with the latest developments in site management and compliance.
Who’s Invited
The Forum is open to all site managers, caretakers, and facilities staff working in educational facilities within the Hammersmith and Fulham area. We encourage collaboration across different types of schools—primary, secondary, academies, and special needs schools—so everyone can benefit from shared expertise and varied experiences. If you work in school facilities management within the borough, you’re invited to join us.
